Meet The Support Team

To help set-up and run the Wave project we have engaged with experienced and established organizations. Their historical and continued help in guiding and ensuring that we do the right things, understand any risks, establish suitable policies (such as safeguarding) has been invaluable.

Community First

WAVE has been very fortunate to have the support and guidance of Gary Davies and Naomi Towers from Community First. Gary has been advising from the start, helping with the structure of a community organisation protocols and funding. WAVE successfully secured the funding enabling the commission of Y Services to complete research to establish what the young people would like/need on Hayling, Gary’s input was invaluable. Gary guided step by step the process required to become a charity which WAVE successfully achieved 11th August 2020. Naomi has now taking on the lead role supporting us and has helped us to secure lottery funding to allow us to continue to run for the next three years.
