The Hayling Island Wave Festival 2024 is on Saturday July 13th. Please save the date, our early bird tickets are on sale via EventBrite. Get tickets here

We have run the Wave festival since 2021 with the aim of providing something for Hayling Island and to raise funds for the Wave Charity.  All money raised is used for Wave or other local charities.

Here are a few words from our ambassador Preacher the Storyteller about his role with Wave and the festival.

Here are some of the pictures from the 2023 event which, despite the weather, was a great day out for all ages.

See below the 2023 event line-up and activities. We are preparing already for 2024 and will have a similar set of musical acts and activities.

The Hayling Island Wave Festival provides something for both adults and children. There was music, free activities including regular appearances from Rocky the dinosaur, pedal go-karts (adults and children), a toddler play area, frisbee golf, face painting, regular appearances from a storyteller along with a treasure hunt, art activities, dance fusion and lots more.

Concession stands from local vendors were selling burgers, salads, cakes, candy floss and much more. For 18 and over there was draft beer and wine available along with a cocktail bar.

Mark Collins DJ on WAVE 105 was the compère the event.

The full schedule of live music was scheduled to run from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm with an eclectic mix of festival music from local south coast musicians. Check out the groups appearing by looking them up on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube or Spotify. We are expecting to have a similar mix of groups for 2024.
