WAVE was started four years ago with the aim to support the young people on Hayling Island. WAVE has secured a building from which we will supply mental health support, girls’ health, teach healthy cooking and eating.

In addition full size pool tables, room to watch the latest DVD’s, play station area and craft room. Most of the funds made from the festival will go towards WAVEs building. The rest will be gifted to Hayling Community pre-school.

 

This year’s WAVE music festival was on 23rd July 2022 was bigger and better than last years.

Mark Collins from WAVE 105fm was comparing the event.Some of the activities available: Land Zorb arena, assault course, bumper cars, inflatable play zone, bungee trampoline and lots more

The food vendor “Loved by Lucy and Liam” both were born and live on Hayling Island. They supplied burgers, pizza, Paella, hot dogs etc.  WAVE supplied a gin bar and Maxine landlady from the West town pub supplied, real ale, larger and wine.

The're was also be a free area for the children which included face painting, Princesses, Circus acts, Treasure hunt and a Story teller.

 The Festival will started 11 am and finished 9.30pm.
